Another Parking "fine" - Newlyn?
Discussion
Not had a letter from this lot before...
The date they are quoting is from March 2012, todays letter is just over 2 years after the fact. I am assuming that Peel have brought Newlyn in to chase old invoices?
Due to the date of their initial invoice am I correct to continue as normal and file it under B for Bin?

It's pre-October 2012 so "protection of freedoms act" is not applicable (back then, the advice was to ignore, ).
They'll be hoping that you've moved, you won't get the letters so they'll get no reply, they'll then go to court and win an undefended claim . Thankfully the OP is at the same address, and so this scenario won't pan out . (I'm being vague on who 'they' are at this time, 'cos I'm tired and the OP has the info .)
I'd suggest writing to Newlyn saying that the alleged debt is denied and to refer it back to their client, and adding that any further correspondence will be deemed to be harrassment (more details are available on the pepipoo, moneysavingexpert and parkingprankster websites - but don't put this bit in brackets in your letter ).
Then see what happens and report back.

If newlyn are instructed by a local council, they may have a warrant of execution (re-named a control warrant after 6th April this year).
What does the letter say? If you were the registered keeper at date of offence, you're responsible. Give newlyns a call and find out what it's about? Your info is a bit vague.

Will type the letter up later. In summary it says they have been instructed by vehicle control services ltd to "recover the above parking charges which remain outstanding". There's also a "further action may be taken is the debt is not paid in full". What does the letter say? If you were the registered keeper at date of offence, you're responsible. The keeper was not the driver and the letter is not addressed to me, I do not recall receiving anything about this before now.
Ok, the content of the letter:
