Is there a product to stop these calls to mobile numbers?

Yes I can block certain numbers with my IPhone but I wondered if there was an app to stop the calls getting thru at all.

That's what mine does.

Once I've added a number to those lists, I never hear from it again; no calls, no texts, no voicemails, nothing. I take it that's not what yours does then?

Yes, mine does that. Trouble is a call has to come before the number can be blocked.

That would be a matter for your service provider. Your phone can only block calls that it receives.

A 'Trucall' app for the phone would be wonderful. That way the 'bar stewards' would be unlikely to get through in the first place.

Both my house phone and mobile have a call bar facility. Two button presses, and they are on the iggy list.

Got a call today as apparently I have had an 'accident'. The call came from 01323 444 099, good number to add to the ignore list IMO.

Thought I would bump this thread as I just bought BT Trucall phones. First impressions are very good -

They're fantastic. I've gone from 4/5 calls a day to maybe one a month, if that. I can't recommend them enough.

Now, if only I could get that for my mobile.

Simple solution to this problem, just ask the caller in your creepiest voice "what are you wearing today....?"

The "Truecall" in a BT 8500 is about 60% of a real Truecall, good enough for most but you can have such a more flexible experience with the proper unit. (plus you can record calls to a SD card)

I'm sure that's right but I can't imagine any other features I want or need. I have no interest in recording onto an SD card.

I find the 8500 perfect. Can't imagine why I would want to record any unwanted calls to and SD card........

You have a pc interface with Truecall to block add your contacts - BT 8500 is ok for a low volume user but I wouldnt want to put 200 contacts in it

If your phone is Android download 'Calls Blacklist' it works brilliantly
