Has this been posted before?
The 1 and 4 cylinder misidentification, and spark plug with a missing bit sounds very familiar.

It's just what I was told, that it got stuck in the valve spring itself.
As I need my car daily for work and had no other way of commuting/ using a car whilst in work I do kind of need it, so had to rearrange upcoming holiday, yes.

I shall have a look, thank you.

Utterly impossible. If they're lying about this, what other porkies are they telling?

I'd love to be standing in front of the Service Manager (or whoever) when they come out with tosh like this. smile

Not a clue. I guess they think I'm a bit thick, being a "kid"

The rattling isn't there now and the sparkies are the ones I bought, other than that, not a clue.
