Might Have Been Caught Speeding - Help
Discussion
Hi All
I'm after some advise please, not any lectures.
I was coming home from work today driving on the motorway, some idiot cut me up so I missed my turn off and had to take the next exit. In anger and a rush I put my foot down. I was doing around 120/130mph and seen a speed camera van on the overhead bridge. I obviously slowed down as soon as it came into sight.
What sort of punishment am I looking at for this?
Thanks In Avdanve

That is very quick for a public road so big fine, big disqualification. I'd be on to a specialist lawyer for advice. Got to be worth a slice of fees to reduce your ban.

I got caught earlier this year at 113 and took 5 points and a 1400 fine. Keep your licence or don't lose your licence .com in Glasgow. Also cost me 1400 in solicitors fees. 3k or no licence. If you are over 120 I would expect a ban but give these guys a call. I used euan Robertson. Highly recommended.
Awww bless. Somebody got in your way so you couldn't do what you wanted so you had a temper and went really really speedy speedy in your little car.
Not your fault then diddums. Now dry your eyes, blow your nose, stand up straight and tell that nice man wearing the gown and funny wig what happened.

To me, cutting up implies someone moving across my path in such a way as to be dangerous and needing braking and/or avoiding action. If you were in lane 1 for your exit I can't see how they could cut you up except by moving into lane 1 as well which, if it required you to move into lane 2 rather than brake, would not cause you to miss your exit as you would then brake to drop behind them? Please explain how this happened?
