Hello chaps,

Not sure if this is the right place but am doing the house insurance and there is the option of 'semi detached' or 'terraced' (sadly I don't have any directorships or multi-million pound businesses). The house is end of terrace so which one should it be under? The terraced option keeps referring to middle houses, but the semi assumes one house next to you.

I would personally say end of terrace but there is no option for that.

Last year there was the option of end of terrace, but not this time.

Mods, if this should be in the home section then I apologise. Just like my insurance, I don't know where to go.

In my defence, the chap on the phone when sorting it last year said 'they are the same thing innit', so I thought I would check this time.

They aren't the same. The price might be, it might not. Either way declare it correctly amd you won't have any problems come claim time.
