Good Afternoon on this miserable wet Tuesday.

Can a camera van detect you speeding on a bend or does it need to have a clear line of sight?

I saw him fairly early on and slowed down he may have got me or may not, just curious really.

The road in question is the A317 St Peters Way, Chertsey coming from Woburn hill up to the M25- Camera van sitting in the lay by.

Here is a link if your interested https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Chertsey+Rd,+A...

I doubt he'd have chosen that as his site if he wasn't able to lock onto the cars coming towards him.

Typical bends aren't a problem. A24 Dorking is a good example.

If the picture shows you getting it really sideways on the bend then the Government has to send you 100 quid. PHACKT.

If you were in lane 2 with lots of traffic in lane 1 then it could be difficult to get an accurate reading. The bend itself would not be an issue.

Thank you for the replies chaps. Guess I will have to wait and see if I was a specially selected winner to receive an envelope.
