£35 is a bargain. Where do you find such cheap parking tickets?
Is it not the standard pay in 14 days and don't contest council ticket.

It's what I was given the other week for being a bit more naughty and leaving a couple of foot of my van over a zebra crossing while unloading!

same as car tax if your wheels arent on road then your dont get a ticket for no tax. if your driveway is open to to the road then your car is technically not off road, there are a lot of loop holes/ stupid little niggly bits

So you're saying that when I'm in my DeLorean, provided I don't land, I never have to pay tax? Sweet!

ive done a bit more reading on it,

the road had restrictions on it so i parked up on the kerb all 4 wheels where on the pavement so i wasnt on the road, now in london they have rules saying you cant park any wheels on the kerb but doesnt say outside of london.

there was plenty of room around my car you could easily fit a woman a push chair a stupid dog and another child next to them and still not have to yeild to get around the car.

wouldnt anyone else appeal or would you again purely just ignore it all?
That's Numberwang!!!!!!

You've only gone and cracked the special code. Nobody has ever considered parking on the pavement being the perfect parking crime before. You sir, are a genius.
He's the Napoleon of parking crime, Watson.

OP: You are the secret lovechild of Professor Moriarty and Dr Evil AICMFP.

Bit late now as you're bang to rights, but a little known loophole is to hire a beach buggy in the future. Most hire places won't have them 'on the books' but will always have one or two out back for people in the know. This isn't classed as a motor vehicle, it's classed the same as a child's pushchair and you can park where you like.

Yes, and they are also exempt from speed limits and can treat traffic lights as advisory.

The OP's got me thinking though. If I drive with all four wheels on the pavement, surely speed limits don't apply to me.

Aye. Separated by six (count them, six) degrees from Breadvan of the family 72. Spooky.

That LoonR of the family 1 must be one Grand Fromage to get a 1 though.
