I'm presuming that it's the 50mph stretch between Bredbury and Stockport - a notorious section where a number of accidents have occurred in the past. IMO the average speed cameras there are justified, and anyone getting ticketed deserves it.Fane said:

It's not so much the limit going around the sharp bend with narrow lanes which irks people, it's the limit on the wide, straight section for the best part of a mile before the bend.
