Anyone knows whether the new gatsos behind the digital speed signs are turned on between J6 and J9. They were only installed this month (August).

If you mean the HADECS on the managed systems - they have been there for about 3 months now.

A guy at work has been "done" for 51 mph when they were showing 40 - between J10 & 8J8 southbound.

So, was he 'caught', then?

It was showing 60 on the digital boards. However, everybody was doing around 70 in the middle and fast lanes. Wonder what will happen...

How many people have been prosecuted when a lower limit wasn't being enforced?

That's nowhere near the M62.

I was just wondering how many people had been convicted since the story you linked about the M62 dated 08/10/13 & now.

I think the general question, which is being asked repeatedly on PH, and at the moment no-one is able/willing to answer. Is it a countrywide situation (whether the cameras operate at the NSL) or is a regional thing?

Just for your info, I checked tonight and between J6 (spaghetti) and J8 (M5 South) I counted only two gantries with cameras. (Thats over about 4 and a half miles)

I counted two, as well. But, I'm not sure they were/are turned on or been set to 60 (as the signs suggested), though. Coz, on Sunday afternoon most cars were travelling around 70 while passing those two gantries. If they were indeed turned on and set to 60, are they all going to be 'ticketed'?
