How many bobbies have impersonated a Police dog before wink
Pass. Probably easier than a horse though.

It seems tolerably clear that the last several Chief Constables of South Yorkshire have been horses, for all the good they've done.

I impersonated a police officer all month a few weeks back. I had a dark blue Volvo S80 D5 hire car wit lots of sensors on the window and grill. I was amazed at how many cars moved out of my way in the outside lane. I didn't have to wear high vis or fake hat either biggrin

If shouting "police come out" or similar is impersonsting a police officer I would imagine most 5 yesr old lads will be locked up after finishing their game of cops and robbers in the playground.

Well now, that's a matter of intent isn't it?
The 5 yesr old lad hardly expects his chums will be convinced that he has recently been inducted into the constabulary, whereas the nefarious surveyor fully intends for his victims to be duped.

seriously? you told some kids you were police and you want to know if you are in trouble????

god help you at xmas when you impersonate santa!
I'm not in trouble. If plod traced me and knocked on my door I made all this up merely to entertain the forum and make me look big and clever (wonder if I'm the first person who's ever done this). If a certain group of teenage truants guilty of trespass don't come forward as witnesses then the incident never happened.

I was more interested in the BiB view. Common sense and it served a purpose? or sorry mate, you broke the law and the rules are the rules and we don't approve.

"It's a civil matter"?

You'll need to elaborate on that one.

No. Some matters are civil. Some are criminal. In civil matters, the police have no powers. In criminal matters they do. It's not complicated.

Wow. That's quite a performance from the thug claiming to be a policeman.

I don't know the history of the guy filming - obviously he's got 'form' - but that doesn't excuse the behaviour of the fake cop. Or the lack of interest of the real ones.
