Also, not sure if any of these posts about Cardiff are serious? If so, those commenting must not have spent much time here in the last 20 years. It's a modern European city with everything you could need, easy to get around and low crime compared to most major British cities. Newport on the other hand...

Don't let it get to you. Quips based on what someone else said I think, they miss the mark.

Of all the cities I have been to in the UK, Cardiff is superb, though a bit frisky at night.
