Portaloos put on our car park without permission!
Discussion
Bit of an odd one this!
The company I work for owns a small car park in a city centre which we purchased to give staff somewhere to park, we also have a few spare spaces which we rent out on a monthly/annual permit basis. So all spaces are used pretty much all of the time.
The car park is at the rear of a row of shops and other offices, and a couple of then have fire doors that exit to the car park.
One of the shop owners have been quite difficult over the last few years shall we say, by regularly parking in the car park all day, not in a space but just in the middle, and then using his fire door as his access to work because he doesn't see why he should have to pay for parking in the city like everyone else. We have taken him to court previously and some doddery old judge who has now retired told him off for the parking but then said he could still have vehicle access in and out of the car park if he needed to access the rear door of his property! So the problem of his all day free parking had just remained.
He has now allegedly decided to host a few evening social events in his premises and this morning several Portaloos have appeared in our car park taking up valuable space and looking unsightly.
This is causing havoc as the parking space is desperately needed, and while we can't access all the spaces, we are having to pay to park elsewhere which is obviously costing us time and money.
We rang the portaloo company and they won't tell us who hired them as it's 'confidential', and won't enter into any discussion about the fact they are on our land.
We tried to speak to the shop owner who allegedly hired them, but he won't speak to us and his shop staff know nothing apparently.
What can we legally do here to remove them? We need these things gone!

The plot thickens.
Spoken to portaloo company again and they are being hugely obstructive. They now say they have 'sold them' to someone and are only doing the emptying from now on.
The absolutely refuse to say who they sold them to or who the customer is.
We said we were going to remove them from our land and they still remained disinterested.
The shop owner is still being evasive.
So... We are in a quandary.
I'm reluctant to drag them out of the car park as I will then we will be responsible for blocking the public pavement or roadway to the rear of the car park.
If we pay to have them taken away then it's going to cost us.
Annoying.
