It's amazing the number of people that can't navigate roundabouts. One makes me angry it's at the end of a slip road off the A570 in Widnes, there are two lane one with a left arrow and one with a right arrow, yet still the number of utter fktards who are in the left lane indicating right and then cutting everyone up is overwhelming. This is Widnes though...

Blame the highway code, it really needs updating in my opinion to include multi-lane, spiral and signalised roundabouts.
Only the very simplistic non-laned roundabout is featured (I think).

When this is all people have to refer to in terms of 'rules' then its no wonder why we see so many conflicts on roundabouts.

Quick example - on a multi-laned roundabout with white lane markings..... what would a car's indicator mean?
Simply to change lane or would it be that the car wishes to make an exit?
Or with the offside indicator, then does it mean change lane intention or continuing around the roundabout in the near-side lane?

Don't get me started on the people who choose to lane change from 2 to 1 at the roundabout exit itself! furious
