Don't listen to agt, he's just worried all his business with disappear when this flawless "loophole" becomes widespread.

I recommend going through a few cameras to try it out wink

This is so true. In fact a friend of mine used it last week and got off scot free.

Another for end of a friend did too. I recommend speeding everywhere to everyone and everyone gets away with it.

You can even do it for murder too. The best way is to sign the statement with a fake signature. You always get away with that too. My friend did after he killed his wife with a Red Bull can.

Could we refrain from the use of the term "Scot free" please? They're getting ideas north of the border.

It's slightly out of date.
The article said:
Latest figures show that in 2001...
That should have provided a small clue.

Sorry about the new title, the old one was deceptive and I couldn't think of a better way to describe it.

The Scots can still choose to "go unsigned" following a speeding offence captured on candid camera in Scotland though - as can English and Welsh drivers in the case of a Scottish offence - which is what the article is talking about.

It means 6 months of "not being in" when the police call round to get the S.172 paperwork signed, though....

Hello officer, how can I help you?
Ah no, I am not Steve, I am his Elbonian cousin, Stephnedahpheweundikaniswalyniaphorganopop. Steve has gone to Alton Towers, sorry. No I do not know when he will be back, maybe March?

Can you please provide a statutory provision or a decision of the Court of Session or higher that supports the proposition that an unsigned form is not evidence?

BTW, the article is about Wales, not Scotland.

I knew it was a wind up when I read

article said:
RoadPeace, the charity for road-accident victims, said the loophole showed that cameras and computers were no substitute for a police presence on the roads.
