Surely you can see the absurdity in issuing a document that claims someone has just had a crash but has a certain number of years of no claims bonus. I find the idea of dropping two years even more bizarre. If I've crashed my car and it's my fault how can you issue a document saying I've still got 4 years...

I'm not sure who came up with this idea. But I don't think it's too well thought out.

It's very well though out and hugely biased in favour of the customer. Struggling to see what your unsure is other than logic. Insurance is hugely emotional matter for the driver and logic has no part ton play for them
