I had two of my tyres stabbed in the sidewalls last night. Two questions: Can they be repaired (they are very new) and secondly, should I report this to the police?

I'm the Pastor of an evangelical church and there have been a few incidents of minor vandalism recently, two padlocks being glued and now this. We are in inner city London so it may be a co-incidence but I'm getting suspicious now.

They can't be repaired , you could end up knocking on the doors of those pearly gates quicker than you'd expected.

report to the police , sounds like some scrote is targeting you/your church

No, sidewall damage cannot be repaired and yes you can report it if you need a crime number for your insurance claim but don't expect much more than that.

Some idiot with a grudge, I'd guess. Do your church attendees create parking problems for locals?

I knew you were going to say that.

It's always best to report these things so the police at least have it on record. It could be a mindless idiot targeting any cars in the area so a wave of police reports should catch someones attention and hopefully these will all add up if the person is ever caught.

Report it. There may have been a slate is them and yours is another. Offender may be located and TIC yours. If nothing else it's logged. Sorry to hear it. Unless there's a witness, very little chance of a positive outcome though.
