The same law as to reasonable force applies as would apply to an adult.

Spoke to a copper this morning and asked them to add it to whatever intelligence profile they are building. Looks like its not being reported enough as yet, until more come forward they cant mount an operation. (always an issue with ad-hoc but semi-regular events in my experience)

That gang have been mugging people in that area for at least a month, I work round the corner and have seen them grab bags twice now, over the course of 4-5 weeks.
These kids are they white?I wrote the above as a test.
If you ask if they were black - you get 10 replies telling you your racist and color should not matter.
Ask if their white - hhhmmmm nothing yet (apart from the above wink)
Go out with a couple of colleagues and pretend to be weaker than you are, so that you're an obvious target.
Catch the little sods, call another colleague in a vehicle, then drive them to somewhere quiet and castrate the little bds....
Back in the 1960s, the Twins or Richardsons wouldn't have allowed such casual crime on their manors. If they were lucky, any kids behaving in the way you describe might have had a first warning, but not a second warning...
Brutal, harsh, but effective.
