Does interest push it over?
no sadly not, it's been around 12 months so would only put it up to £648

well I have details of the ebay auction and unless she can prove she can play the guitar then I'm not sure she could!

However I want to rule out all possible chances of it failing so good call, I'm not certain it could be proved 100%

Civil court judgement is on the balance of probabilities rather than beyond reasonable doubt, so IMO you are sitting pretty. Did you get a screen grab of the ebay ad by any chance, and did it say "selling on behalf of a friend" on it?

not got a screenshot but have the ebay auction number which I suppose could be used to get the details if needed. I also have copies of the emails between myself and the buyer when they were asking questions about the item

Soov has been on the Christmas cooking sherry, as in addition to the debt being too small, a stat demand isn't supposed to be used in place of a court claim.

Soov, leave some for the trifle, will ya?

He still trots out 'obtaining pecuniary advantage by deception' now and again - betraying his age...;)
