Meant to come back and post on here, what with driving through these lights quite a lot recently I did notice that the particular set of lights in this situation do have a red light camera, so what with you having enough time to get all the way across the junction before they hit you there should definitely be a NIP heading their way too.

I was the front seat passenger in a similar accident many moons ago and ended up spending a month in hospital with a broken pelvis, so I'm pleased to hear that no one was injured and you got him bang to rights.
I've got a Blackvue too, just for this reason - nearly needed it last year, if he'd hit me without the camera, I reckon the insurance would've tried to blame me:
