Amazing what written off cars can do - The one that's been on my drive for the last 5 months was done doing 81.2MPH on the A19. Strange, as it would probably have struggled to do that before it was re-arranged by a skip lorry.

My 50 year old Riley has been enjoying itself, last week it triggered a camera at 81.2 - and all the while I thought it was tucked up in its garage for the winter...

Given how old this site is, that baby must be what? 23 or so by now?

My old FS1E was doing 81mph on the A66 a week ago... strange as it was written off in 1975 and never got above 55mph when I had it... oh how I miss the purpleness...

Love it!

YouTube is the same. I love Dave Gorman's trick. Find a random video, such as a cat yawning, make the comment 'Fake!' and watch the chaos that ensues.

Sweating for a minute there as our car lived up that way for a long time.

Mine was apparently doing 73.8 at a place I've never heard of. That's pretty impressive for a piece of paper (V778). biggrin

I must remember this for the wife, she does speed everywhere and has being stopped several times each month or so but always get's let off! (being a tall slim blonde can't surely be the reason?)

Just got mine worried. .. until I showed her my parent's old car apparently was caught speeding also on the 15th & that car was broken and the engine put in a vboat in 1998!

I've just check my Dads 1938 Austin 10 which was reported as doing 68mph in Wales. The car was scrapped in 1957 !

And I checked 10 of my old cars now scrapped and each one shows that it's been speeding in 2014 - same place, same time. And my current car was doing 37mph on the A1303 on 17th December. The car has never been outside Scotland! Also shows my wife's car doing the same speed at the same place on the same date. Her car has never been outside Scotland either (in fact, it's never been further than 30 miles from our door!)

I reckon the site is just a crock of sh*t.
