Why should the BiB have to deal with this?

Full lenght video of the prank. No one was arrested, some had a good laugh, Good and sensible policing wins.
Thank God those that would have arrested or executed these chaps are either PH police or cops in la la land.
The "humour" is completely lost on me. They seem a couple of complete morons. The police seem to have dealt with it extremely professionally. Full lenght video of the prank. No one was arrested, some had a good laugh, Good and sensible policing wins.

For some reason I was reminded of the Lee Rigby murder. I think they were lucky the Police didn't assume the same.

I can't believe people think Constables are toys and should be played with. For some reason I was reminded of the Lee Rigby murder. I think they were lucky the Police didn't assume the same.
Sure they love a laugh as much as the next chap, but be bloody careful, especially just now.
I served in the RAF, and then as a special for West Mercia.
In the RAF I had rank, actually being commissioned eventually , in the Police I was just a hobby bobby.
As a special Constable I had more power than I ever did in the forces, I actually had more power than the people in charge of the armed forces ..... in peacetime.
You don't have to respect the person, but you really do need to show respect towards the office they hold.

I bet you didn't give out many mobile phone tickets then? Sure they love a laugh as much as the next chap, but be bloody careful, especially just now.

Yes.. Lee Rigby does spring to mind. If people thinks that is racist then who cares... Better to be sure than afraid of being called a racist.
Just as a matter of interest, how many white people have attacked or tried to attack our country in the name of Islam?
Surely common sense should prevail without the threat of racism?!

That is funny, the OP video is just ignorant and not funny at all.Nigel Worc's said:

This is spot on.There is also the very strong under current of victimization/bullying behaviour. Notice how the officer is actually surrounded by the three of them, the two visible and the camera person, and has his personal space invaded. I'm forced to wonder what the real motive is here, earning a bit of compensation probably.

Thankfully/hopefully none of the people replying here are real cops. Whilst this is a stupid prank and it wasnt even funny at all, the cop dealt with it properly. If the prankster had his face caved in cause the cop genuinely thought it was a real threat then so be it.
But advocating arrests and custodial sentences over what is obviously a prank paints a picture of a sad/lonely life.
I'm not a police officer, but having been in the armed forces for years & often standing in public with a live armed weapon, if someone had tried that with me they wouldn't be around to laugh about how clever they were..... What are your options in that situation? Wait to find out if they are bluffing & risk being killed before you even have your weapon in the aim, or take their threat as credible & act? Under the current rules of engagement it would be 100% reasonable to fire. But advocating arrests and custodial sentences over what is obviously a prank paints a picture of a sad/lonely life.
Utter tossers, very brave picking on a lone unarmed officer.
Ive seen some of their other "pranks" including the GTA one in South London. Wouldn't have surprised me one bit if one of them had been stabbed.
As for the vid in the OP, not even remotely funny. You're an unarmed copper and these pillocks came up and say that to you? I certainly thought of the Lee Rigby incident -two blokes virtually in your face asking if you want to die. What would go through your mind?
Theres a time and a place for pranks and that wasn't one of them.
Modern times and peoples self entitlement to do whatever they want whenever they and don't no one dare tell them otherwise.
