Well I don't believe my letter did much to help his cause. He received an 18 month prison sentence.
I'm going to take a punt and guess that he smacked someone bloody hard outside a pub?

One of the guys that works for me passed on a big thank from the unfortunate chap that went to prison. His sentence was actually 15 months whilst everyone else apparently received a minimum of a 2 year jail term and no one had the right to appeal. So I am pleased that I could be of some help.
He was not involved in a brawl, he was not thieving, no drugs or drink. For the very incredulous reason that he went to prison I feel I am unable to explain fully the circumstances.

Not oop North.

Still very common practice here in sunny Lancashire, however technically incorrect.
And down south. Nearly always use "worship". Otherwise, what would you call the plural, of mixed sexes?

You Honour, she offered her honour.

He honoured her offer.

And and he was on her and off her all night.
