So, how much was the compensation ?
£150.

I don't know which is weirder tbh, the idea that Dogzilla is making this up, or the amount of time some of you seem to devote to trying to find out if he is or not.
Ha that made me laugh mate. I really hope this letter turns up soon. I'm dying to hear what the wannabe CSI forensics experts say. No doubt they will pick it apart word for word and then circle back to a post I made in 2012 to somehow prove that I've been lying all along.

How was the £150 compensation paid.

Thats good so now we can expect to see two letters from your insurance company, one for the payment instead of repairs and the compensation letter.

What I find interesting is that I am with Admiral Insurance and when I had a no fault claim in November 2014 I either had to use their Accident Management company Albany Assistance or the third party insurer that I used.
What company did you deal with for your claim.

So you are saying that the compensation was included in the payment they already sent you. This noes not make sense as you said the following:

25th March 2015
Just got a call from Quality team and I am absolutely over the moon with the result.

I was gearing up for a long battle but fairness has prevailed.

I was informed that a cheque for £7500 is in the post today. This includes money for a geometry check on the car which came as reccomendation from the engineer.
The figure is slightly reduced as the labour on the two incidents was combined and reduced accordingly.

This does not include compensation for the saga which I have gone through, they are currently working on a figure and will get back to me in a few days.

Then on 1st April you said that £7415 turned up in your bank account.

So to sum up originally you said that the £7500 does not include compensation but ended up with £7415 that includes compensation. So in reality they did not pay you any compensation at all and reduced the payout by £85.

It will be interesting to see your letters regarding the payment in lieu of repairs and payment of compensation.

Although you said that when you spoke to your insurance company on 25th March the cheque was in the post and then changed your story to the insurance company paying by BACS into your bank account on 1st April (Maybe that was an April Fools joke).

It would appear very strange for your insurance company to pay you money but over three weeks later still not having sent you a letter of exlpanation for the payment.

It seams pretty obvious that there was no payout from your insurance company so we will not see a letter in the future.

One of my employees wrote off her company car. I had a couple of negotiating emails with the broker to agree the final figure. Once agreed the money was bacs' d straight into our account. No letter no other correspondence. That was in January this year.

Hope its all worked out well for you OP.

OP still no letter from your insurance company explaining the payments.

It looks they have not written to you as no payments were made.

Can you explain this please OP.

On the 1st April 2015 you said that your insurance company paid you by CHAPs for the claim for your wifes car where someone side swiped the car on two seperate occasions.

Then on 14th April 2015,two weeks after you say the insurance company paid you out in cash in lieu of repairs you said the following in a thread about dash cameras:

"last time misses had an accident the ahole sideswiped her from the rear and is now protesting his innocence"

So the person who side swiped your wifes car is now protesting his innocence,so I guess he is not admitting liability so how come your insurance company has paid out two weeks ago prior to this information.

Which bit of my post above yours do you not believe? I even posted it twice for you smile

Is the op right, confused, not communicating clearly or just BS' ing? It's the internrt, it doesn't really matter; as has been said just move on. OP (and virtually everyone else) has.
