Time to name and shame to avoid anyone else falling into this SOR trap
At least a clue steet name and town/city should do.
I think this thread would probably be a general warning about the risks of SOR, without needing to breaking the name and shame rules. I'm not sure how anyone reading this could be in any doubt as to the risks!

Now the private car ads which state: "No Agents!" make sense to me.

Of course there is rsisks with SOR but to suggest that every dealer is a scumbag, is like saying oh that dodgy kebab takeaway gave me food poisoning, you better avoid ALL restaurants in the future.

I am sure the majority of dealers out there offering SOR are legitimate, so why tar everyone with the same brush. By giving a clue to who it is in this case could potentially save a few other people from getting ripped off by this particular piece of gutter trash.

I think you've read too much into the post. I'm clearly not suggesting that every dealer is a scumbag, or tarring every dealer with the same brush. The point is that you're not only at risk of individual "scumbag" dealers, you're at risk of any legitimate business getting into financial difficulties.

I've no doubt it's registered to him. Going on his form, I'm just wondering if the previous owner (if any, could have been bought new) has been paid for it.

Wonder how many cars are going to be collected by their owners? Might have a bit of room in the showroom!

You'd be pissed if one of these was your car on SOR.
