Hi Folks, I'm looking to establish the best in class amongst the various detectors, GPRS Systems, and Countermeasures...anyone have positive or negative feedback on real world usage? I.e. I bought this and it works, I bought that and its pants etc..Hoping to keep it simple..something along the lines of:

Product Name
Pros
i.e. detection rate
i.e countermeasure effectiveness
i.e. database accuracy
Cons
i.e. cost
i.e. failures
Thanks!
Pete

The most common answer you are likely to get is best detector – The MkI eyeball
Best Countermeasure – A gentle right foot !

The blinder has the advantage of very small heads that are very easy to fit where they will not upset the look of your car...

If anyone who has these its doubtful they will talk about it to a new poster on open forum, but Google is your friend.
yes , perverting the course of justice is for winners thumbup - because this is what 'they' can potentially throw at those drivers using such devices in this fashion.

PS usually it's garage door openers wink .

Sorry Andy - that is a very simplistic approach to the law of the land. It all comes down to how you argue the case. Obviously if you go in with poor argument then expect the worst.

Nothing wrong with a Roadangel or TomTom with up to date database, but they will always be a slightly historical database.

No point in a detector. If it can pick up the laser/etc then it is probably too late anyway and too late to reduce speed.
Ditto the "Airwave" detectors - too many sources.

For a jammer - don't bother. And especially don't bother if you take it abroad. The Police can and do seize them, and hefty fines apply..
