Accident Witness Required

A long shot I know but I was hit by a car this morning and didn't get chance to get any witnesses. I had pulled up the slip road eastbound at junction 20 of the M62 (Oldham). I waited at the lights and set off when they changed to green. I was hit on the drivers side of the car by someone who had not stopped at the red light on the roundabout. Because it was so busy we moved the cars up towards Rochdale and exchanged details on the hard shoulder. I am worried that the 3rd party may try to deny this as although they apologised at the scene they did not seem to know what they had done. I think they were too busy looking at a film crew who were on the flyover filming the motorway. I was hoping they would turn the camera round film the scene and offer assistance but they didn't. If by chance someone on here did see it I would appreciate it if they could contact me. I don't want this to end up knock for knock as it was not my fault. No one was hurt so the police were not called. I was more concerned about getting us both out of a dangerous situation and not causing more traffic delays at the time. Perhaps I should have been selfish and got the details of all the drivers around but I just don't work that way.

I would love to be able to help, but unfortunately my view of the accident was obscured by 219 miles of buildings and countryside.

Would there not be a good chance of cctv cameras covering that area? It is a motorway junction after all.

There are but not alot of detail and not pointing towards the roundabout.

These cameras are not always pointing in just one direction though, are they? There might have been something of interest to look at (film crew you say?) on the roundabout today!
