Now you have 911 LAW will you be gaining any legal qualifications? That might help.

I think you WILL ONLY BE HAPPY, if you hear what you want TO HEAR. So:
The DVLA are in THE wrong and that POLICEMAN IS TOTALLY out of order and should NEVER have pulled YOU OVER FOR your illegal number plate. YOU PROBABLY have a good case FOR A complaint against EITHER OR BOTH, and I would imagine you will GET A SUBSTANTIAL amount of compo for your troubles WHICH WILL ENABLE you to buy the ORIGINAL law 5y.
I think THAT I'VE DOWNLOADED the same Windows 7 UPDATE as you that randomly TOGGLES THE CAPS lock... wink
Whoosh parrot for you, fella.

Not really, no. Very nice car, enhanced (or will be at least) by a good plate.

Morally the OP, is wasting PLOD's valuable time, and he has prevented them from catching the muggers of old ladies, and allowed bank robbers to go free. He is therefore no better than a mugger and a thief.
A mugger and a thief.... You have a wonderful imagination....
Not as wonderful as yours, imagining that your plate is anything but ste.

Ooops
A bright yellow 911 Cab with 'Joy 4 1' on the number plate doesn't say 'midlife crisis' to me - it says something quite different... boxedin

Like plenty of others you have bought a plate which needs a bit of adjustment to read what you want it to read.

The situation is made worse, due to the fact that when i purchased the plate from the DVLA in 94' ALL OF THEIR PLATES WERE ADVERTISED MISS SPACED in the NATIONAL PRESS. I bought this plate from the DVLA to display it in the way it was PRESENTED and MISS SOLD to me.
I don't remember any miss-spaced ad's.

Bottom line is you were fined and simply accepted that. You knew the law on plates and also replaced it every year for the MOT.

Yes you met a jobs worth copper but in no way were you mis-sold the plate.

BTW I too have a plate that looks better adjusted, I had two fines but got fed up when pulled and given a defect notice. It simply wasn't worth the grief.

The plate is now on Lady B's car, and funnily enough since it was put on there no fines. Then again since put on there it was fully legal

So if plod tells you to do something, you just say no, and that is the end of it?

He should not tell you a second and third time and then nick you?

Endless source of tripe.

Victim? I've had a driving licence for 52 years and I've never had points on my licence.

One of you is an endless source of tripe. I see you haven't been able to give a decent answer though, which gives weight to it not being mph.
