Hardly the same as sticking one on a 911 that to anyone with a basic knowledge of the car (and no one else will be interested at all) is just an old 996, the one with the dodgy engine.........

If he just wanted a show plate he could have got one made up for £20He obviously has plenty of money and as he was prepared to buy it for a million in his eyes got it for half price.
The Ferrari 250 car is probably worth say 5 million plus so when a rich guy comes to buy it he will say you can have the number as well for only a million extra,and the purchaser thinks he has a bargain.
