Was that a shooting star, downed satellite or a missile strike?
I'm hoping it was a wayward missile strike that ended up nuking Bracknell.

He didn't like the answers he was getting so pulled it.

Usual scenario, post video and ask for opinions, don't get the answer you want, delete video, throw insults and then hide.

OP, be man enough to post it up again if you've nothing to hide. It's no big deal.
Actually, I asked if people would report it, overiding opinion that they wouldn't, made it private so as not to incriminate the driver of the BCGT. I have nothing to hide except the identity of the BCGT driver.

You're worried about incriminating him now? You seemed to want people's backing so you could report it. You made the effort to capture the footage in the first place.

I doubt the police are going to scroll through youtube to find videos of cars making unsafe exits from a motorway.

You've only had a handful of opinions.

I think the fact you've basically called me a liar, I think it's only fair you put the video back up to show my opinion of your driving was wrong, or correct as the case is.

I don't know how I called you a liar but you can now view the video if you want. I have only had the car and the dashcam a couple of months so wanted to test the waters as to whether people would report dangerous driving.

I exited the A3 in the normal fashion, aimed for the outside lane to turn right at the roundabout, got caught out by a mazda mpv turning right from the left hand lane, merged in behind said mpv on the roundabout.

Still can't see the video mate, I'm more interested in the quality of the dashcam footage rather than the incident though.

Do you have any more you're happy to post up?

Ta for that, its not bad considering the night time poor lighting. Thanks for the clip. Looks to be a good unit for the price.

Unlisted at the mo. Better quality available, youtube downgraded it.
I've twice seen marked police cars do that.

Can you provide a link to the footage?

OP, the driving by the Bentley is no different to that you'll see every day if you keep a look out. Yes, it's poor, but it's not worth wasting police time over something so trivial.

The danger in posting your own driving is that it inevitably ends up under the spotlight. The impression it gives, looking at your positioning and late braking (and in the context that you've gone to the trouble of YouTubing it and creating this thread) , is that you were unhealthily fixated on the behaviour of the Bentley. Road driving is always going to be a stressful pastime if testosterone is allowed to rule your thinking.

Do we really want to start monitoring and reporting each other? What kind of life will we have if we go down that path? (Thin end of wedge etc.) Yes yes, of course the usual argument will be trotted out - there'll be some dangerous drivers addressed, terrorism thwarted and so on, but 99% of the time there'll be an army of saddos who would otherwise have no power in their lives, gleefully monitoring others with the feeling that for the first time in their lives they have some influence over others.

The OP video of tts diving from the outside lane across traffic onto a slip road is very very common. I would hazard that the majority are quite intentional and that is their driving "style".
Sadly with the reduction in our BIB, they appear to be busy dealing with issues and leave the roads to be monitored by the damn cameras.

Let's hope the Bentley driver had a moment of awakening there and pays more attention to the road in future.

If you thought it dangerous enough to bother & didn't have a dashcam there'd be little point in reporting it.
The fact people have the dashcam means they'll bother reporting it now because they believe there is a point as something is more likely to be done about it.
What do you think happened before dashcams. Everyone kept quiet and the police did nothing at all?

Some still reported it and police would go and have a quiet word. Resources probably don't allow that anymore but none the less that's what happened.

Dashcams just make it easier to pick on everyone's little infringements. I always feel there are 3 types of dangerous on the roads;

1. Stupid moves risking others just because they can get away with it
2. Unaware dangerous (hate to say but old OAP drivers type of danger)
3. A move taken which on reflection was not the cleverest

Big Brother isn't just the government anymore.

Fat chance - bet, as another poster says, that's his usual driving style, based on the superior speed and handling of his car and his driving God skills.

It is an endorsable offence to enter/cross a hatched area bordered by solid white lines

So he is a knob and bang to rights if plod was there

And IMO really bloody dangerous. When wet the lines are slippery and plenty of crap gathers on there which could blow a tyre. If he had lost control going over that section he could well have taken out the Range Rover.

I had seen him driving like a muppet previously and let it go, the red mist descended when he performed that manoeuvre, and yes I did speed up to get his numberplate once I saw the RR change lanes.

...and thats where you crossed the line I'm afraid. Not as bad as the twunt in the bcgt, but a little pot/kettle unfortunately.
