So it transpires the lad was a drug dealer, with a history of a violent past, no innocents were involved. I hope those who had their vehicles damaged got their compensation for their losses.

So it ok for bent corrupt coppers to be on the streets of London in your opinion? The lad has gone, the four who caused the grief and their family's will maybe become parking enforcement officers. But thinking about that, that would be too good for them. Trolley pushers? Yea they can run round tescos ne nor me nor. Then go home and batter the wife's

A Pc was sacked recently following an incident with a kid on a moped. If he'd put his hands up for some wrongdoing at the incident he'd have finished up with a warning. But for persistently lying afterwards he got the boot for gross misconduct. It's any dishonesty proved that will potentially see those involved sacked

They are always someones inoccent little boy like the known gang member with history of firearms the met shot and we had riots!

This is why many forces don't pursue mopeds and some bikes as its not worth the risk, they come off and die and the family claim the rider was cleaner than the Popes sheets and a innocent victim of police harassment.

Did anyone hear of the police special/ driving instructor who has been done for dangerous driving and lost his career because a motorbike failed to stop was riding at a colleague in the road so the special (who was not authorised to engage in pursuit) blocked the road and the biker swerved came off and sued to the police!

The career he lost was that of a driving instructor as a result of his actions as a Special Constable.

No he should of let the biker run the officer down and gone home and had a coke and a smile, then next day go back to being a driving instructor. He blocked a road to stop a scally and the force through him under the bus to cover their bums, no doubt some clever clogs PCC said the media and the authority need a fall guy.

He simply wasn't entitles or authorised to block the road and should have stuck to his day job which he's now lost
