I must be lucky. Mrs Garyhun and I have moved 6 times in the last 7 years and neither of us have had a problem'witb DVLA in changing address details.
3 bits of v5 swappy stuff last year, all sent off at the same time, only one processed correctly on first attempt :-(

Six(?) V5C address changes and two DLs a couple of years back - every single one right.

So what's your point? Do you think that's proof that DVLA don't cock stuff up?

Perspective.

Or, given the real cause of this thread, a mild suggestion of contributory wuckfittery.

If I fill in 3 forms identically, then if the wuckfittery was mine I would expect them all to have processing issues, not just some of them. To give some supporting perspective to the view that DVLA are not perfect despite your glowing experience; when I was at the post office about an hour ago trying to sort out the mess they have caused, the post office man said "have you got a phone on your camera? I always recommend taking a photo of the documents so you've got some record of them if they get lost in DVLA".

Three sent off in the same envelope, two came back the other 'never arrived' with them.

Time for thread title change?
rofl

When I saw the thread title, I thought they'd accidentally wiped out millions of peoples details, or downgraded everyone with a full licence to provisional. But actually, they may have made an error on one blokes transaction.
