I really doubt that. The conspiracy theorists have a had free reign to spout their usual garbage without me and, who knows, maybe more people have got even more confused or angry as a result hehe

So, the OP's policy allows him to drive another car and be legally insured, but only on a third party insurance basis.

In summary, the insurance company will only apply the actual comprehensive damage cover to the vehicle registration quoted on the policy document.


It seems simple enough.

On a side note, on renewing the other halfs policy with AF the other day, they asked if I wanted to increase the 3rd party cover on other cars to fully comp on other cars valued up to 20K for £30 a year.

Wonder what value (trade or private etc etc) they use for the 20K. I bet its a different one to the one used when paying out smile
