It's a funny old world, crash..............out come the camera phones.

Fight in the street............out come the camera phones.

Someone lying in a pool of blood on the pavement............out come the camera phones.

I do hope none of the teddys were hurt in the crash.

There were a few minor injuries, and a few in shock, but they had to grin and bear it due to all hospital beds being full of dozy HGV drivers.
Police were asking drivers not to go down to the woods today while on the 20 mile diversion.
Very good laugh

As the people caught taking photo's are being prosecuted does this mean you cannot take photo's of a crash scene and under what law would they be charged?

Mine too.
One of my pet hates. Rubberneckers. Too many RTC on the other side of the road due to one of these idiots running up the arse of another.

Keep up at the back chaps. It was replaced by the Casual Misuse of Eroteme Regulations 2015.

There's no legislation* that prohibits taking photographs in a public place. In fact there is case law that supports the taking of photos and making sound and video recordings in public. However there's lots of law about doing stupid and dangerous thing WHILE DRIVING.

http://www.herefordtimes.com/news/12928871.Fatalit..._police_ask_public__not_to_filmthe_scene/

All they can do ask on grounds of decency; there is no offence.

  • Some already defined places and establishments are regarded as sensitive under the Offical Secrets Acts and various bits of anti-terror legislation. There is a place on the A480 just outside Hereford that is so covered; there are signs in the layby to that effect. You may find similar restrictions in Cheltenham, Aldermaston, Faslane.

Cheers - another of my policies will be funding for giant banners that can be erected at the scene to screen off the crash and carrying the legend "nothing to see you bellends - keep driving normally or be fined a zillion pounds"
