If they are going there every day and becoming obese then you might have a point. However, the occasional fast food meal is simply not comparable to smoking.
How do we police the folk who let their kids get fat then? Put them into care? Ban people from overfeeding their kids? Or impose some sort of blanket ban on children in fast food places (like you're presumably advocating for smoking). We can't ban people from pursuing a legal activity in their own property IMO. What next ban them from smoking in their own homes in the presence of their offspring? It's total bks. Make smoking illegal or get the fk out.

About time. You can usually tell a person who smokes in their car, they stand in supermarket queus and stink.Cant believe anyone smokes in a car with a child, or at home for that matter. If adults want to smoke, fine, but don't force it on others, especially children.

Quite. Along with enforced religion, it is child abuse.Cant believe anyone smokes in a car with a child, or at home for that matter. If adults want to smoke, fine, but don't force it on others, especially children.

i rarely drink alcohol . i do however have to contribute to the pot that wipes the arse of heavy drinkers ,alcoholics and various other stupid ,selfish people that cause harm to themselves and other people every single day in the uk. i agree, we have to legislate against these sort of people.
Next you'll suggest that you've never called, used or needed the help of Police, Ambulance or Fire Brigade. And the sooner that those people that do use any of these services make direct payments for their own associated costs then the less you'll have to contribute.
