Most DOCs will not allow you to drive a car belonging to another family member. Just checked 4 policies with different companies (I keep scanned copies of all the family insurances) and all 4 prohibit DOC with immediate relatives cars.
I've never had a policy with that restriction on the DOC. Who are immediate family anyway? Parents, kids, siblings, inlaws, uncle, half brother, stepbrother?

That's right. Any car not owned by me nor hired nor leased to me.
