This didn't happen, or if it did then not for speeding. 2nd drink drive offence within 10 years has a mandatory minimum 3 year ban. If someone tells me they once had a three year ban then I'd immediately think repeat drink driver.

Apart from totting up cases, the longest ban I've ever had for speeding is 3 months - for an agreed 142 mph.

One presumes that you mean, "the longest ban that one of my clients has ever had...."
