Hello, after some advice regarding a parking ticket letter that has turned up. The letter is from a county council for a ticket I supposedly got over 18 months ago. I'm wondering after such time has passed can they actually enforce this after such an amount of time has passed? Since the date of the 'offence' and this letter arriving I haven't had anything at all. Now before I get jumped on for trying to wriggle out of a fine, at the time of this offence I had several staff who were able to use the car so it may or may not have been there but just feel after 18 months it's a little too late to rock up asking for £75. Thanks for the help in advance

Register with pepipoo.com and put this on the council ticket thread.Post up all the info you have with personsal details deleted, but they will tell you what to leave on the letter/ticket.
follow thier advice, answer all the questions truthfully and you should be able to sort it out.
Whatever you do ...do something but dont ignore it. councils can and do get very legal

OP, was this a ticket placed on the vehicle or via CCTV/ANPR and a postal PCN?

Thanks for both replies guys, will register and see what they say. Regarding action taken I have sent a letter back but all I have received since is a letter from their collection agent people saying fine has gone up and not mentioning my reply. With regard to how the ticket was issued I'm not sure as neither letter said how it was issued but they haven't sent a picture like I have seen friends receive when parking too long is service stations etc.
