At least the roads will be a little bit safe albeit for only 2 months.

Don't forget to pop by in 3 months and ask what you're looking at for speeding/DD/DWODCA after having been banned before.

Why 57 days? Why not 55 or 60, or even 56 so it's a nice round 8 weeks?

Do I read this right (and ignoring the shameless smug attitude from the OP for getting away with this ridiculously lightly) the OP's dad received a NIP, returned it, the OP received a NIP which was completed and returned, the OP received a court summons, appeared in court and was convicted and sentenced, all within 15 working days!

These things usually take months to get to court, or is the judicial service moving as fast as the OP these days!

For anyone who cares I have been to court today. 57 day ban and a £450 fine and 85£ court costs

Looks like I'll be on the road again sooner then all you little trolls on here thought you bunch of try hard fks.

Thanks to the people who tired to help I have been very lucky indeed.
That's a great result!

In court, convicted, fined, out and posted the result by 9.32
Go back to page 1 and Lukexy is too stupid to work out if he is 24 or 26 years old.

Lukexy, you are too stupid even to troll properly. You have no attention to detail. Go downstairs and ask your mum to pour you a glass of milk.

Surely you have to retake your test too as obviously you can't read road signs.

Judging by your smug attitude towards other posters I'm sure you'll be posting this on Facebook or what ever, nearly triple the speed limit and you get 57 day ban, that's ridiculous.

'yeh, doin 85 in a 30, got off innit, f** d polize'.
Hahaha stay mad son it's called a good mitigating statement no need to cry about it prick.
Glad to see your little trip to court taught you some humility... rolleyes

Might be worth slowing it down in the future; we all like going fast but triple the speed limit is too much. Book a track day next time.

As a named driver on my partners policy I had to declare my NCB and any crashes and convictions.

Also to the above, I bet you are the type of person who wears matching 'sweatsuit trackies', a crew cut and a girlfriend with scraped back bottle blonde hair, still lives at home with his mum and your 3rd step dad.

Nice to see your conviction has brought you a sense of humility, now back to your council estate smile 'son'.

Apologies, missed the first line of the first post.

Serious question though, when you're back driving will this short ban affect your diving?

OP - assuming this is true, have you learnt anything from this at all apart from being 'lucky'?

Wow, missed this thread those months ago when it first appeared.
Nice one OP. Oh I don't mean with the speeding, that just showed idiocy. Not with the attitude leading up to court, that was poor and certainly not "after the event" because that too shows a certainl level of "class".
No, I mean congratulations on being a complete and utter prick. I'm pretty sure I see the likes of you speeding around where I live. 30mph limits, houses either side, kids playing in the streets and a bunch of kids in their cars, the entitled ones, who are safe at 80 in a 30 because they are special drivers.
The roads are a safer place for 56 days but more importantly, when you come back here (probably under a different username) in 6 months time asking what happens when you've been caught again (and it will happen - your attitude of "there was never a camera there before" is indicative of your driving style) we can only hope for longer bans.
All that is wrong with kids driving on our roads.
