Have proof of mail theft - nobody interested
Discussion
The Police's point is that you haven't suffered any financial loss, but surely theft of mail is in itself a criminal offence? A shame they aren't taking a more proactive stance as presumably there are other victims who have suffered a financial loss and they could clear those crimes up.
You need his address and some proof he has be lurking around your mail box then the police will search his house and probably find your mail.I still think they will only give him a bking or caution as he needs to steal money or defraud you or your bank in some way for them to get serious.
Regardless of the specific crime or not in this instance, I'd be interested to know who he is. It's unlikely this is the only naughty thing he is doing so would be good for intelligence purposes at the very least.
Who knows what he is trying to do? Using someone else's mailbox because he's cheating on his lover, or raising money for terrorism. You don't know until you poke around a bit.

eh, did you miss the rest of the thread?? His address would be great... As would a name. However, i kind of feel like i've done enough investigating here.btcc123 said:
No I have read the whole thread so I know the course of events.I dont want to be harsh on you but you say that you feel that you have done enough investigations yet you do not know the guys name or address and followed him once but lost him so it looks like you are no Sherlock Holmes.
You tit. Not much to update today.. I was hovering about the streets looking for him, but didn't see him. However, i'm 70% sure he was parked in a car across the road for about 40 mins. He didn't go near because he would have seen the property management company round to clean the mailboxes and windows, and perhaps even saw me.
