Be gentle with me as knowing some Pistonhead responses I am going to get possibly slaughtered winkbut picture the scene my daughter and boyfriend have just purchased their first house I have been to look and seems all fine nice newish house on a small cul-de-sac nice well kept front gardens and whilst I have no issue with the large white van parked round the corner(house is corner plot)as I am white van man to I drove by the house the other day when van wasnt there to find the largest fking oil spill/stain on the pavement and road I have ever seen which to be honest is a complete eyesore now am I being anal and need to control my OCD or is there anything I can do !!

I know it's a silly and outdated idea but have you tried talking to the van owner?

Inform the council, they will receive either a knock on the door, or a nice letter informing them to clean it up, and that they may be charged for repairs to the road surface.

If it's your van leaking oil, you will need to get it fixed.

Your post is missing full stops and commas, which makes it difficult to understand what is happening.

I think he is highlighting that he has no issue with large white vans being parked there per se, as he drives now himself, it is just about the oil leak.
