It's police and dismissal for Gross Misconduct too I'd wager.
Is chopping a colleague with a meat cleaver really gross misconduct?
What would you call it? A minor disciplinary issue?

It might not be entirely his fault if his employer hasn't provided the necessary H&S courses pertaining to the correct use of tools and equipment jester

Well just seen the Anaesthetist . Will be going to surgery in an hour.
Unfortunately this is for real . My family wants the police involved so it seems to be going that way.
The mad thing is the guys wife has just given birth and his other child is under three .
I work long hours so this is the only forum I go on as it bloody well covers everything.
And before anyone suggests . No I'm not gonna hammer sausages in his lawn.
Oh and it's a Restaraunt .

Good point & I think the OP should sue his employer too for failing to protect his health & safety. biggrin

seriously I think he does have a basis for an industrial injury claim.....

I still call BS. Why did no one at the work place call the police?

As for Jordan's waps, crikey! Next people will be saying that Jasmin isn't really live!

He could have killed you.

You have to report it and the CCTV will help.

Has he been in touch at all or is he not bothered?

He could do this again if you don't put an end to it.

Never you mind

It was you on this occasion but next time it could be somebody less able to defend themselves so even if you don't report for you report it to hopefully help somebody else in the future. This needs to be on his record.

The boss has just lost one employee to the hospital all day and probably doesn't want to lose another to the police station all day. Got to be thinking about his business! biggrin

Although it does sound like grievous bodily arm. silly

Does everyone involved have a legal right to work in this country? Maybe that's why no-one seems to want BiB involved?
