Selling a car to a person in Germany

Cash is King. I sold my car to a guy from France last year. I thought it was some sort of scam because I put it up for sale, went to the Le Mans 24Hrs then when I got back I had two separate offers from people in France. Couldn't work out why but as it turns out, it was coincidental. The guy came over with a trailer, paid cash but I insisted he went to the bank with me where they checked the money before it went into the account. Car was then released. Nice guys too.

All good so far. Monies all received via bank transfer, moved to a different account now. Just need to get the car to the mutual friend then can go car hunting!!
