Cane we see the 30secs before as well?
I think you know the answer to that, it probably doesn't suit the op's agenda.

To me it looks like it was the cars in front of OP that were "slowing" rather than OP "shutting the door".

Look at the 2nd overtake by the Audi. There was enough space for him to squeeze in front of OP but he was determined to carry out a second, even more lunatic, overtake. Or are people suggesting that OP forced Audi to do the 2nd overtake as well?
First overtake was mostly the Audi's fault, although the OP could have done some things to make it safer. Second overtake was just stupid given the road layout.

I pulled away from lights in lane 2 briskly.

when I saw I was closing on the slow moving fiesta I started slowing down. If I didn't want the audi to overtake i could of stayed over and controlled the road space. I can see the are some judge, jurors and executioners on this site who have decided and dapped the throttle to close the gap but I was acceralting from the lights all the time.

I got it though no more overtakes for me will just poodle and if I see an audi 's' car closing on me i will slam the brakes as if its an ambulance and need to make room for the to pass safely otherwise they may pass like this. He/she carried on driving like and did an overtake approaching a roundabout when he was 9 cars ahead.
Sorry, are we all watching a different video?

You clearly booted it!

Roll your eyes at me all you want, you plonker. He made things far worse by accelerating to cut the Audi off. At no point did I say anything like your wibble above.
See your a bit touchy, your name isn't Ronnie something or another (who?) is it?

The Audi driver was a grade A prized prick, he should have just filtered in behind the OP. Not only does he have to prove that he is 'the boss' in typical audi fashion by making sure he gets in front, he continues to show what a complete bell end he is by then overtaking the fiestavery in a very dangerous position.

You forgot the bit about noticing the Audi overtaking so put your foot down to prevent him pulling in.

You hung him out to dry, nice one dick head.
Who cares?

I'm sick of cameras. The ones by the road, the ones in Police vehicles and the ones every private dick seems to have nowadays.

Too many people who need to leave their egos at home when they get behind the wheel.
Where's my time machine, I want to go back to the Eighties, back when you could have a laugh with the coppers whilst you looked at their SD1 with the lights flashing as they explained (somewhat unnecessarily) why they had stopped you.

Nope the video doesn't show that at all.

As soon as you've completed your lane change (around 3 sec) you realise the Audi driver is going to overtake and you accelerate hard, probably WOT in whichever gear you were in. If you had just maintained your original speed the Audi driver would have had plenty of room to move into in front of you with enough time to do a crossword or maybe even a spot of embroidery in the process.

Still just looks like the Audi guy was a bell-end to me but I'm sure the resident driving experts will still criticise you.

That video highlights you flooring it more. The gap between you and the van stayed constant, then suddenly the difference in speed starts showing.

You weren't slowing down at all. There is no argument on that.

Audi driver Grade-A bellend (surprise).

to all the critics of jb, noone forced the tosser to overtake it was his choice. As confirmed by his even worse overtake of the fiesta and then booting it to clearly 50+ in the short remainder of film.

Roughly what tonker said.

You were both driving badly. It's a built up area with traffic ahead. Drive defensively.

What's the point of your move?

To be honest, I'd lose the footage and be glad you were't seen by the police, your driving was way below the standard expected, etc.

Admittedly I was carrying to much speed on the approach to the fiesta but I didn't make the audi do what he did and I DIDNTtamp on the throttle to stop the audi I was accelerating from the lights consistently.

The audi overtook another 5 car like that

I used firm acceleration from the lights audi came at me whilst closing on the fiesta at which point I broke to try and avoid an accident.

He carried on flat out overtaking into the distance
