You would be mental to hand that in. Why even risk getting yourself into bother?

Without a doubt the Audi driver requires driving lessons, but you'll end up on the same course.

The video quite clearly shows you easing off then accelerating hard when the Audi goes to overtake.
No it shows me suddenly gain on the fiesta as he had slowed ready to turn off.

My mio cam would prove this as it has speed were as the transcend doesn't.

When the audi pokes his nose past me i BRAKE
I disagree, IMO you accelerated to try and close the door on the Audi, the van may have eased off slightly but his turn off was still a bit up the road.

Looks like you accelerated to prevent the merge. Why did you do that?
Doesn't look like that to me. The fiesta is slowing down, if you use the lines on the road as a point of reference he/she doesn't look to be speeding up.

Audi driver is a prat - no excuses for them.

No!
Psst, it shows the OP sitting in the outside lane blocking the safe and legal overtake, and causing the eventual outcome! But you never heard it from me, right?

Having said all that, Audi should have stuck behind the Fester.

You seem very adept at finding out exactly what other people are thinking through the medium of a youtube clip. Have you thought about Britain's Got Talent?

OP, Audi driver did something very dangerous, clearly would overtake what ever you did.

How long had you and the Audi driver been playing games for prior to the videos you chose to post?

So we are all going to turn 'coppers narks' now that dash cams are available. We all make mistakes (don't we) so, eventually, we all stand the risk of being 'reported' by other drivers.
We do bring a lot of s**t on ourselves in this world.
But it'll make the lawyers richer.

What lawyers? Legal aid lawyers who earn less than nurses and wish they could do anything else but deal with this kind of crap?

Ruined an otherwise broadly sensible point.

I pulled away from lights in lane 2 briskly.

when I saw I was closing on the slow moving fiesta I started slowing down. If I didn't want the audi to overtake i could of stayed over and controlled the road space. I can see the are some judge, jurors and executioners on this site who have decided and dapped the throttle to close the gap but I was acceralting from the lights all the time. The audi decided last minute to boot it probably due to superior car, hair style who knows what else.

I got it though no more overtakes for me will just poodle and if I see an audi 's' car closing on me i will slam the brakes as if its an ambulance and need to make room for the to pass safely otherwise they may pass like this. He/she carried on driving like and did an overtake approaching a roundabout when he was 9 cars ahead.

If i upload the full clip it may help to show my pace and I was slowing down when they decided to pass>

Borderline illiterate, chip on shoulder, poor hair style.

But dashcam! So assumes he is a good driver and in the right. Because dashcam!

+1 it only looked like he floored it because of the fiesta braking
a bit slow pulling into lane 1 but again I can't see what was in Lane 1 at the traffic lights

What was very poor.

at no point did a straddle the middle of the road with oncomings forcing them to take evasive action, I didn't keep my foot down when the audi came along side i braked to try and stop him having a head on. i am only guilty of trying to making progress.
So this screen shot, just as you went through the lights, shows you tried to stay left then? You then stayed right until you had no other choice to move left. Id be glad the Fiesta was there TBH. If it wasn't i'm also sure you wouldnt have slowed down and would've stayed right into the merge and we'd be watching the multiple car head on, on the news.

looks like only the OP was in lane 1. He then moved right at the earliest opportunity to block lane 2.

What did he do then? Moving away from the single straight ahead lane at the lights, he positioned to block anyone behind him by moving over to the right after the lights when it became 2 lanes again. He shouldve stayed left. If that isnt moving over to the right, i dont know what is.

Who will be looking at things from a criminal standard, not a 'is this good driving' standard?

The Audi driver's driving was at least 'due care and attention', so criminal.

Your driving was poor because you didn't take the rate of the closing distance to the Fiesta into account. You shouldn't need to brake there. Perhaps your thoughts were more with the Audi.

Your acceleration wasn't linear. The rate clearly changes prior the awful overtake the Audi driver does. Whether this was because of the Audi or not only you know, but it suggests it to be the case.

A S.172 request to the RK just like a speeding ticket if you've ever had one.
