My next door neighbour has been caught for 'Failing to give way to oncoming traffic' ie was the last car in a line of cars travelling through a single lane area, his side to give way. The first car coming towards him (with right of way) had only just got to where the road narrows to single file as he was halfway through. The capture was of a photo and video uploaded to the council website, which I am trying to find.

I suggested one of those companies that you pay a small charge to, in which they will take on your case and pay if they lose. Has anybody any experience of these? I realise these are primarily for private parking companies' cases, but their websites also state they can take on council cases.

Yes for the cost of 16 gbp we won so in theory save 24 gbp

Appeal service wrote to parking company
Parking company responded by stating the ticket system was down and they should be able to respond within 90 to 120 days
With 45 days the ticket was cancelled

If you need the name just pm me
