Hi,

I received a PCN through the post for 'parking on restricted street during prescribed hours'. The car was observed for 1 minute.

What do you think?

that doesnt look like a PCN photograph, but either way its obvious that the car is being driven at the time, so I personally tell them to stick it.

Looks like you were pulling away from parking to me.

Man up and stop lying to get off.

oh do shut up, he could have simply been dropping a passenger off for all you know.
Its simply not good enough evidence of any offence having been committed.

So are you claiming the traffic warden lied and you weren't observed parked for 1 minute?

Were you kerb crawling perhaps?

Please don't judge me by your standards.

I am saying I was not parked on the road as being claimed. Furthermore I am saying the observation is incorrect.

By the way... for the record I was not curb crawling!

If I was the fact I would be 'crawling' would mean my car was in motion... even if nothing else was.

Just seeking clatification for the car clearly pulling away from the kerb.

Have to wonder if it wasn't parked what was it doing on the wrong side of the road, or a one way street perhaps?

IIRC wasn't there a change so that it was no longer necessary for the PCN to be fixed to the offending vehicle?

perhaps dropping off a passenger, as I already mentioned ..maybe that was the only space on the road to drop off a passenger safely.......
you shouldnt be making assumptions and judgements without any evidence........

I think you are right, there is no need for the ticket to be fixed to the car.

Does dropping off a passenger not involve parking then?

Did they jump out of a moving vehicle?
