I have not claimed I was doing anything.

What I am annoyed at is I was not parked when it is alleged I was.

I was in a traffic jam and I saw a guy stopping his car on the other side of the road. He took out an elderly person and took them into their home. He must have been gone a couple of minutes at most. I saw this inspector issuing a ticket to the car.

I felt this was really unnecessary. I shouted at the inspect when my car was closer however the inspected did not hear me. I therefore took my car to the other side of the road and pulled alongside the inspector. I was in my vehicle whilst the inspector and I had a conversation about what had happened to the parked car. He refused to cancel/stop the ticket and I got annoyed and called him a heartless so and so.

He responded by saying he will give me a f-ing ticket... I laughed at him and said 'best of luck you git'.

This is why I am completely stuffed. I clearly was not parked. Yes I had heated words with the officer but only because it was not right to ticket the guys car.

I do, if you take the message onboard it could stop you getting another parking ticket - Very useful.

Next time, jump out, open bonnet (due to overheating), then argue away to your hearts content.

I've skim read the thread, but it appears the OP parked in order to argue someone else's parking ticket and got given a parking ticket.

He is now trying to argue that the traffic warden photographed his car as it drove by and the photo is blurred anyway and blah blah blah, whine, whine, whine.

OP, pay the damn ticket.

Whether it was right or wrong to ticket the other car, it was right to ticket yours. You've admitted you were parked, no matter how many times you say you clearly weren't you very clearly were.

As I said before, stop being an arse and pay the ticket.

It doesn't read that way.
You question if a negative response to you is useful.
CT says he thinks it is.
Given your attitude so far in this thread I don't think anyone believes you were genuinely thanking him/her.

It looks like you want someone to tell you that you are right. I'll do that and I'll be your friend if it makes you feel better.
Not likely to get you out of a ticket IMO but good luck with it.

Sometimes councils can be lenient. Brent let me off for paying for the wrong car on a pay by phone app.
I was shocked they cancelled the ticket.

If the op had got out to argue over some scrote in a Scooby being badly parked I could understand the backlash but this was because of an old dude who couldnt walk very far being ticketed. We really have become a nasty, vindictive society where amazingly people on a motoring website seem conditioned to accept that they must pay @:> pounds for any minor parking infringement.

The OP didn't ask whether the person dropping off the old person deserved a ticket (Harsh IMO)
He asked about his own ticket. Two different things.

I pulled over to challenge the warden giving someone a ticket while they escorted someone elderly to their door. In the process I ended up getting a ticket too.

I was challenging a warden. He was ticketing someone dropping off an elderly person. I got into a hated discussion where the warden acted out of spite and gave me a ticket too.

I happen to agree. People are quite unnecessarily mean. Their response is beyond me. If they think I am wrong I don't mind knowing that... However their views are always padded with cheap comments. It makes them look like idiots. I guess they don't see that. They probably think they are funny or smart. Well I guess I am happy they get their cheap childish thrills on here in a legal way.

You didn't answer my question about the LA though.
Also, can you confirm the contravention code please?
I assume it was 01 but certainty would be helpful.
There is no mention of a contravention code. I thought that was odd.
There will be, there will be a contravention code and the description of the 'offence'

LOOOOL.

I have no idea. I am thinking have I got this wrong. Was I wrong to pull up beside him to set him straight... in doing so is that considered parking.

I am thinking after all the grief I received on here to either hand myself into a the nearest police station for a life sentence or to cut my wrists. It really is that bad!

Wasting your time posting about this on here mate.
99% or the people on here are complete fking idiots who spend far to much time tossing it off during work time and know sod all.

No way can that ticket stick so tell the issuing authority to do one...
