My stats have gone wild since a link to my pix was posted.
20,000 views in two days, mostly linked from P/H so thanks fellow P/Hers, this has taken my total views to just over 9 million.
This is quite revealing in that you thank fellow PHers for the extra views, but don't understand what has driven the interest in your photo stream.20,000 views in two days, mostly linked from P/H so thanks fellow P/Hers, this has taken my total views to just over 9 million.
It has nothing to do with the content being of genuine interest or quality, but more about revealing the type of person that posted the original story and behaved in such a fashion.
What it does confirm is that an incredible number of people viewed the stream to confirm what many have been saying all along, and the post above confirms..............you are weird.

To finish, I agree most of the 365 pix are not very thrilling but there are some 25,000 car pix there which might appeal to P/H people. My stats have gone wild since a link to my pix was posted.

Have I missed something, I can't see a link to Threespires photography! 20,000 views in two days, mostly linked from P/H so thanks fellow P/Hers, this has taken my total views to just over 9 million.

PC has just phoned me and we've talked about the incident.
It was mentioned by somebody earlier that it could have been a case of the bloke thinking 'why are you looking at my wife'
This was exactly what the complaint to the police was.
This is the photo that I took. The complainants VW can just be seen.

The photograph is cropped. The EXIF data shows it was taken with a focal length of 20 mm with your 100D that has a 1.6x crop, so effectively 32 mm (i.e. wide angle). The image is 2039 x 1035 pixels. Compared to the maximum the 100D is capable of this represents this much of the full frame:

Good analysis.OP - what does the full picture look like?

After applying some special anti-cropping techniques like they use on CSI I have discovered the OP was almost not lying in his original post. However it was actually 2 women that he was taking a picture of, not a man and a women. Not much wonder the police investigated!
The good news from all of this is at least the cropped picture could be well suited to the Bad Parking thread

The link was posted earlier (to a flickr account)
https://www.flickr.com/photos/robertgrounds/albums...Don't click on the link because it seems to give him some pleasure/bragging rights. The pictures are remarkable for their dullness.

I'm still waiting for a link to the OP's undoubtedly rivetting photo-a-day project. He did say it was chock full of pics to appeal to PHers, IIRC.
Is this it?https://www.flickr.com/photos/robertgrounds/albums...
Good detective work V8LM
