Where's the thread for criticising the army?

Not the whole army, of course, just certain elements, mainly in the other ranks, that are letting the side down a bit.
Nowhere, because most people accept that throbbers are an individual issue, except perhaps where management are weak within a sub -unit / unit and allow throbbers to thrive.

Both throbbers in this case still can't/ won't recognise the primary common factor in their interactions ...

Isn't this the kind of thread where the mods should step in and lock it? All its serving to do is put off genuine posters and people who can offer legitimate advice. Threads like this water down the interesting, worthwhile threads and the majority of sensible posters will slowly start drifting away.
BMW makes his childish comments and then gets applauded by others for "trolling" and "sitting back and laughing" etc etc. Personally if anyone genuinely finds one thing he has said genuinely amusing, I'd be very surprised. 28 pages of rubbish. Is that really what you want these forums to be about?

Well yes I did do that, but not in this thread. You're referring to the thread that you made a knob of yourself in and then requested it was shut down when you were mocked.

Why don't you start a thread about the army? Not sure why so many have commented on the army really. As Walm said, you're morons for doing so

Why the army? Why not any other organisation that is full of incompetence?

Which thread would that be then? I think this is the first threads I've ever suggested be shut, and I'm pretty sure there's only 2 people making knobs of themselves. One is you, and the other isn't me.

Thankfully, your stupid number plate thread is still viewable. So anyone inclined to do so can read it, and not only see that you are a liar, but can make their own minds up on the knob situation.
(Maybe have a read through it again eh?)

They're front-line crime figures.

Lawless couldn't be any less the appropriate term.

I don't understand how you can read a simple definition and still not realise it's wrong.

The default excuse when someone doesn't like crime data.

I'm sorry LL but you can research what you like but I can assure you the local confidence in the Police being able to be proactive is nil for the various reasons already stated.
I'll take the research which produces indications and conclusions though objective, methodical means rather than your opinion and speculation.

There's seems to a be a correlation on this thread between those who don't know what they are talking about and grossly over-relying on their opinions as evidence of the wider picture.

They won't accept criticism, it doesn't change facts though. Some officers on here have accepted there are failings, others are a bit more obtuse. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
"They" - a generalisation. Followed by "some" in the next sentence. That is an efficient contradiction.

nd yet you still blame "the police"?
Is there any other body responsible for law and order then? Whose daily job revolves around investigating and prosecuting crime? If certain areas and officers are wholly incompetent, random, non communicative and unable to discharge their duties then surely you can accept that rather than put up fragile defences against the overwhelming facts.
La Liga has statistics - great but back room admin figures cant defend the face to face appalling charades we have witnessed and lawless is the appropriate term.
When there is a burglary or theft around here its often not even reported as its widely known nothing will be investgated. In the case of the found jewellery the time it was dumped was narrowed to 10 minutes and yet the police never even contacted the organisation with a cctv camera less than 100m away that covers the only road in and out. How do you explain that failing??
I'm sorry LL but you can research what you like but I can assure you the local confidence in the Police being able to be proactive is nil for the various reasons already stated.
BMW's number plate thing was a bit of a farce too - an easy but unnecessary stop over a trivial thing then a sudden drive off without further action. Total waste of time.
Sweeping generalisations are at best unhelpful. Blaming an entire organisation for the failings of a few of its members is silliness. Tarring all police officers (and staff) with the same brush is, too.

You're pretty good at being obtuse.

"They" means you and the other "police are amazing" posters. Which you'll see if you took my post in context

Which would again been an inaccurate generalisation since no one denied failings when they occur. 'Police are amazing' is another broad-brush comment. You don't have much beyond binary thinking, do you?

"binary" may be giving too much credit I think... hehe
