Well, why DO you have your name on your numberplate? Is it a military thing, a bit like at school where you have to sew your name into all your clothes?
I'm going dogging in a bit, I'll let you know after that

Ah, that explains it.

I wonder if everyone who has a personalised plate is into dogging?
Yes, it's a real puzzler. Perhaps the young officer scarpered because he recognised me from dogging. I must take more notice of these chaps while I'm furiously tugging myself off over their number plates in secluded car parks

Ok so:

Q. Why do I have my name on it?

A. It's a well kept secret up until now, but ALL military personnel have to do this. It's in Queens regulations.

I don't drive a 5 series. This is terrible sleuthing chaps!! My cars are contained within my other posts.

My plate isn't F00 TJB. Although I am partial to one.....

I really wanted to get B16 SAC to be honest, but someone else already has it - clearly he must be a soldier too.

I am a psychopath. Again this is no secret, all soldiers are. It the best bit about the job - you can just do anything you want and there are no repercussions.

In which case, it would appear that my car was previously owned by a squaddie called "Mr. Perfectplate"tongue out

Never understood why we don't have pressed metal plates like most other countries. Would pit a stop to illegal spacing in an instant
Yes, it would be far too hard to press the characters in the wrong placeconfused

You do seem to worry what others will think about you - surely the whole point of the tweaked number plate is to "impress" others?
I do, my only purpose in life is to please others.

It doesn't automatically mean he's a double-hard bd. he's probably just a cook....

I'm not a chef. Army chefs have been around for many years though and the course is so hard that nobody has ever passed it.

Are you in the Army? You've never mentioned that before!
I rarely mention it unless someone asks. On here people normally see from my profile that I am and then try and use it in some sort of negative way. All very odd. I'm sure they wouldn't do it to my face as I bristle with muscles and take immense delight in killing.

Do you do anything other than sarcasm? You post (stupid) questions expecting genuine answers, and then reply to everyone else's posts in a somewhat juvenile, sarcasm.
what stupid question did I ask?

Sorry, comments in general then.
I only responded with silliness to others juvenile posts. I think your misunderstanding of the situation is evident smile

Ah sorry, my mistake. It's me and the majority of other posters that appear to me misunderstanding your posts all the time.

I slipped a little of my own sarcasm in there....see if you can spot it.

That anyone could believe this? A "secret" but in the Queen's Regulations? Ha ha!

The OP is having great fun in this thread and must be looking forward to each new post.
Not only believe it, but go as far as to ask others if it may be true. smile

This is simple, if you can demonstrate either a) how it affects you, or b) how the police couldn't identify it, I'll go along with you. Plates are meant to be fun, and most people can't afford 2x2 numbers. It's was peanuts to buy and not intended to put on a car for 18 years! Jeesh.
We've obviously got a different view on what a number plate is for.

Seems so - and at its basics I totally agree with you... But this was too tempting wink
You do realise that he could change his name at any time wink

I couldn't care less about his number plate. It's his attitude that stinks.
I only intended to be humorous. When people started drawing direct conclusions on my ability to be a successful dogger and soldier did I start being silly.

Dont be offended on behalf of the lunatic who actually thought you had to have your name on your plate if you're in the military - he was RAF after all. See the person, not the disability.
